Who We Are:
Luz Project is a charitable non-profit organization focused on spreading, sharing & shining the Luz to poverty stricken areas of Alagoas, Brazil. We lead mission trips here each summer focusing on 7 ministries. We also focus on 3 year-round ministries including our sponsorship of CEIBA School, “Food For Favelas”, and Ebanezer Children’s Ministry.
Our "Project":
In the Bible, Jesus calls his followers to spread The Gospel:
“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you…” Matthew 28:19-20
Our organization is focused on obeying this calling. We strive to serve in spreading, sharing, and shining the light/”luz” of Jesus Christ in Alagoas, Brazil. This is our “project.”

Mission Trip:
- Clothing distribution to infants & children
- Food Distribution (soup kitchen & food baskets)
- Personal hygiene/first aid kit distribution
- Church construction
- Bible clubs for children (CEF curriculum based)
- Sports ministry
